Medical treatment can come in the form of prescription drugs (anything from antidepressants or medicine used to regulate blood pressure levels) or the most drastic of all menopause remedies: hormone replacement therapy (HRT). While it is true that HRT is the quickest way to address hormonal imbalance, it also carries with it serious side effects.
It has been reported that HRT may increase a woman’s risk of developing certain kinds of cancer.
These are your options, but here’s one thing you should remember: Menopause is not an illness or a disease. It is a natural—albeit emotionally and physically draining—occurrence in every woman’s life. The chances of you surviving it, whatever menopause remedies you choose, are great.
